EventXpress organized the second edition of Odisha Literary Festival in Bhubaneswar on October 3 & 4, 2013 at Mayfair Convention Centre. Each of the sessions enjoyed local participation-both on stage and in the audience.
Union Minister Shashi Tharoor inaugurated the event and addressed the audience. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended his support to the lit fest for the second time as he addressed and interacted with the audience.
Children and young adults were present in huge numbers for the fest as they enjoyed storytelling sessions and participated in inter-college debate competition.
Odisha Literary Festival-an annual event is different from other literary festivals which promote only Indian writing in English language and/or works of fiction and non-fiction by foreign writers. We bring together best regional writers, eminent Indian writers writing in English language, poets and thinkers on same platform to discuss issues relating to contemporary literature and culture.
