Event Xpress organized the first-ever Odisha Lit Fest in Bhubaneswar in October 2012, to great acclaim.
Unlike other literary festivals which promote only Indian writing in English or works of fiction and non-fiction by foreigners, we put together the best regional writers with eminent Indian writers in English to discuss issues relating to contemporary literature and culture. Each of our sessions enjoyed local participation.
The Odisha Literary Festival has now become an annual feature.
