The New Indian Express Fashion Extravaganza

"Fashion fades, only style remains the same", drawing on Coco Chanel's worldview, The New Indian Express chose the city of Bangalore to celebrate the everlasting charm of pure style, on March 21, 2014. Decked out in sparkles, colour and radiance, was a stage. Sashaying down the stage was a force of 20 models from the entertainment capital of Mumbai. Each was stylised in delicate accessories from PC Jewellers, a leading name in ornamental craft, and couture from Manish Malhotra. One of Bollywoods like a musical theatre, it was dramatically orchestrated by Lubna Adams, a runway choreographer, who has been conceptualised beauty pageants and fashion weeks since 1998. Drawn from the upper echelons of Bangalore's society, there were close to 250 guests present at ITC Gardenia's Mysore Hall, a luxury hotel surrounded by verdant landscaping in the heart of the city's commercial district.
